Any tips on Reverb Wizard? I am not able to distinguish between whether they want the subtle attack or the massive amount of wetness. There is 0 consistency in some of these games.
I actually find this to be the easiest game on here. Try switching quickly back and forth until you hear the differences. If you don't hear when switching it quickly, then listen to each sample slowly. Close your eyes. Dim the lights. You're simply trying to find the one sample that is different from the others. Also, listen for if the sample sounds close or farther away. Listen for how much space around it there is...
I just spent some time playing it so I could try to give some more detailed into for you and what I observed is that I notice that when I switch back and forth and compare the samples, I often feel the difference between the samples as a sensation rather than something I am actively hearing... Sometimes it's an audible click and then sometimes it just a subtle sensation in my ear. Sometimes I can flip quickly between them and hear it instantly and other times, I have to go slow and listen to each sample. And sometimes, after listening for a while, if I go back to switching between them quickly, I will hear that click or feel that sensation in my ear. Also, I use headphones. I would say my headphones are good but not the best. I use AKG Acoustics k240 studio headphones. I hope this helps!
