Hey guys, I'd like to share a few thoughts with you about using sounds in games. For example, I've noticed that using percussion sounds becomes more difficult (and therefore challenging)... have you ever tried ranking the most difficult sounds for various games? And next: have you noticed that some loops sound like they have a progressive low-pass filter? Is this intentional? Happy learning, everyone!

Boston Turns Fifty And The Basement Demo Still Wins

🎸 More Than a Feeling just turned 50, and it was made in a basement next to a furnace.

A $100 acoustic. SM57s. A homemade amp attenuator. A decoy session in LA just to keep the label busy while Tom Scholz built the real record at home.

My favorite detail: that soft acoustic intro was designed to fool radio compressors, so the band would hit louder than everything else on the dial. 📻
